JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Works with operations, the national and local marketing team members, and regional leadership to develop and execute strategic and tactical social media, online reputation, and other related marketing plans that raise awareness, showcase resident or team member experiences, and increase loyalty to improve the customer experience for an assigned portfolio of assets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Collaborates with national and regional team members to assist in the development of social media and online reputation marketing strategies that support the portfolio’s marketing goals. 
  • Provides support and assistance to implement social media marketing and reputation management solutions that adhere to budgeted guidelines. 
  • Monitors Craigslist interface and terms of use to quickly deploy recommended posting changes as needed, refines the existing guidelines and tools for Craigslist, monitors and reports on ghosted listing issues, reviews best practices and reporting frequently to improve the program, and collaborates with Ops Training to provide an ongoing, on-demand curriculum and maintains the freshness of the content. 
  • Keeps abreast and provides recommendations for changes and enhancements to current social media and online reputation management programs based on trends and changes in the marketplace.  
  • Monitors company benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs/online reputation, and analyze, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. 
  • Provides input into the design and production of communication pieces, promotional materials, presentations, websites, reports and training materials related to social media marketing and online reputation management.  
  • Collaborates with Education on the creation, implementation, and ongoing development of social media and online reputation marketing related education courses, participant guides, and other materials used to improve skill and confidence level of our onsite team members.  
  • Identifies and meets with advertising and marketing vendors in collaboration with National Marketing Vendor Committee, reviews proposed service contracts for preferred and favorable rates, recommends creative service providers, and monitors and manages advertising suppliers for product and customer service quality.  
  • Leverages opportunities to educate market leaders and other team members on incorporating relevant social media techniques, products, and services into both corporate culture and at the asset level. 
  • Completes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
  • Supports the evaluation of new and existing assets through an asset-performance and market-positioning lens.
  • Supports activation initiatives for assigned assets across both virtual platforms (including social media, digital programming, community partnerships, and website coordination) and physical environments (including interior design collaboration, event planning, and initiatives related to activating on-site spaces). The role includes coordination with influencers, local vendors, artists, community organizations, and designers as needed, and contributes to the planning and execution of in-person partnerships, programming, and events as part of broader physical activation strategies.
  • Participates in key client and stakeholder meetings related to both physical and virtual/social activation components that inform asset brand positioning.
  • This position anticipates hybrid (office/work-from-home) working environments in addition to approximately 50% of time spent in-field.

The salary range for this position is listed between $90,000 - $120,000

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
