The Community Support Supervisor will work in Greystar's corporate office in Memphis, TN.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manages and supports implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives that drive operational excellence and standardization by creating and defining processes, procedures, tools, policies, communication, and metrics, and managing compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures.
2. Provides input into operating policies and procedures that promote best practices and standardization across the Company’s real estate portfolio, and assists in implementing training, tools, and systems that ensures the integration of best practices into the operation of the centralized Resource Center.
3. Supports and manages the daily tasks of direct reports to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
4. Ensures Company’s set KPIs are met and/or exceeded through reporting metrics.
5. Communicates with and supports the onsite leaders, Community Support Specialists and other support groups to resolve service and performance level issues, provide input for process improvement, and support strategic initiatives that enhance the products, services, and overall effectiveness of real estate operations.
6. Supports the daily operations of the Resource Center for a limited number of communities.
7. Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Extensive Yardi property management software system experience required (in an administrative/financial-related capacity for completing tasks such as delinquency management, reporting, lease renewal management, invoice processing, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, and answer questions about the property’s financial operation.
Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and employment documents.
Robust experience in using the property management applications (Yardi, Foresight, Workday) is preferred.
Robust understanding of property operations and, in particular, of lease terms and lease enforcement, including delinquency management and collections.
Employment history that demonstrates the application of property management, accounting and customer service background sufficient to assist in managing the day-to-day operation of an apartment community, resolve customer
complaints and issues, complete financial records, documents, and reports.
College degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Minimum of one year of property management experience (preferably in a Community Support Specialist, Assistant Community Manager, and/or Community Manager role), or other related experience preferred.
Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
