JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Business Systems Analyst will act as a system administrator for Greystar’s Property Management Systems (PMS), including Yardi (CRM Flex, CRM IQ, Voyager, AR Manager, MIQ), Lavanda, Mews, RealPage, and others. As the local expert-level superuser, the role involves bridging business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, mapping processes, and implementing system enhancements.
The position requires close collaboration with international teams, support for strategic roadmaps, and ensuring that systems align with business objectives while managing upgrades, configurations, and issue resolution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

System Administration and Maintenance

  • Administer and maintain various PMS platforms, including Yardi, Lavanda, Mews, RealPage, and others, ensuring data integrity and standardized procedures.
  • Support system upgrades, conversions, installations, and testing of new functionalities tailored to business needs.
  • Execute ETLs and manage database updates or changes across multiple systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and global policies by collaborating with UK & US Systems teams.

Implementation and Enhancement

  • Lead or support due diligence, property setups, and system conversions for new properties across various PMS platforms.
  • Identify system enhancement opportunities and work with stakeholders to prioritize and implement improvements across all supported platforms.
  • Develop and execute SAT test plans and coordinate UAT testing on new functionalities.

Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide second-line support for PMS platforms, resolving software and program issues efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, and other modules across multiple systems.

Documentation and Training

  • Develop user support materials, technical manuals, and training resources to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to provide training for all supported systems.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze business requirements and create customized reports (YSR, SSRS, etc.) for Yardi and other systems.
  • Manage ad-hoc database changes and provide performance metrics for system-related projects.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with European stakeholders to define priorities, requirements, and implementation strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with international systems teams to align with strategic roadmaps and deliver operational efficiency.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Expertise in various PMS platforms, including Yardi, Lavanda, Mews, and RealPage.
  • Proficiency in ETLs, SQL scripting, and complex reporting tools like YSR and SSRS.
  • Strong understanding of property management systems in the real estate sector, including multi-platform integrations.
  • IT literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Project.
  • Fluent in English; additional European language skills (French and/or Spanish).

Experience & Skills

  • Experience managing operational business systems, including multiple PMS platforms.
  • Proven experience in system implementation, enhancement, and testing new functionalities.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
  • Background in the property sector, particularly residential apartments and third-party management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business change processes.
  • Commitment to developing and retaining talented team members.
